Professor Alasdair Cook

Professor Alasdair Cook was appointed to ACMSF in April 2025 and is a veterinary epidemiologist with more than 25 years national and international experience in animal health in Government, academic, commercial and development environments. His research interests encompass the epidemiology of infectious diseases, including foodborne zoonoses, and the application of digital technologies in animal health, with projects in UK, Europe and Africa.
